- Both pieces: Gently hand wash in cool water using a mild, chemical-free detergent to preserve the silk's delicate fibers. Rinse with cold water and hang to dry. For a smooth finish, iron on the reverse side with a cool setting, or hang in the bathroom while you shower, letting the warm mist soften the fibers naturally. Reserve dry cleaning for moments when gentle hand washing is not enough.
