Once received, I machine washed and dried my new duvet cover. I kept it inverted to tie the corners with the duvet and then naively worked my way through the roll method.
My first impression: “wow, it’s a lighter green than I expected”. I regretted not pre-ordering a swath. Despite that, within days I felt reassured that I would enjoy the color. Apart from its varying appearance -depending mostly on daylight- it has a soft-crested wrinkle that textures the way light highlights the surface. It’s reminiscent of eroded faces seen all along the foothills of California.
Anyway, they are nice sheets. I’m still not sure if I shouldn’t feel guilty about the price, but it’s kinda fun to find out what happens when you give your best a shot. I look forward to seeing how they wear in time.
