DESIGN | Meet Colin King

02 NOV

At CULTIVER, we've been working on a collaboration with the accomplished Colin King, set to launch later this month. It’s a modern, yet timeless collection designed by the world’s go-to interior stylist and artistic director, intended to transcend seasons and trends.

At CULTIVER, we've been working on a collaboration with the accomplished Colin King.

Ahead of the launch of the collection, we’re delighted to introduce you to the New York-based creative. Throughout the course of his career, Colin has established himself as a leader in defining the style of modern American design through his work with top global brands and publications. King is a regular contributing stylist to publications including Architectural Digest, T Magazine, ELLE DECOR, and Ark Journal among many others.

After studying dance, King transitioned his creativity to the realm of interiors, working with several design firms overseeing content creation and art direction. He found himself curious to understand, then execute and capture, the intensity and nuances in arranging objects.

King has expanded his studio practice to include creative direction, product development and installation design. His discerning eye and natural affinity for design have seen him turn his hand to rugs, objects, furniture, and now bedding, with CULTIVER. We are very excited to present our first collaboration together with you soon.

Earlier this year, King released Arranging Things, published by Rizzoli, a book sharing his intuitive and deeply personal process of elevating spaces through a series of anecdotes and visual essays written with Sam Cochran and foreword by Robin Standefer of Roman & Williams.

He has perfected said art of arranging things in his light-filled Manhattan loft, his signature aesthetic embodied within. Take the tour.
